1. What is fonytalk ?
  Fonytalk is a mobile APP by Fonex (fonex.com.au) which allows you to make and receive calls from your mobile.
2. Free Calls fonytalk to fonytalk ?
  No credit required to call fonytalk to fonytalk. Signup and get free ID.
3. How to make a call ?
  Dial the fonytalk ID from your mobile. Eg: If you want to reach to your friend or family member whos id is 09965987. Simply dial 09965987 from fonytalk dialpad. To make International call,Dial: Country Code + Area Code + Number.
4. What do I required to use fonytalk service ?
  In order to use Fonex service, you will required wifi, Gprs or 3g broadband internet connection. We recommend to use unlimited data plan.
5. How to login to my Add-Ons Account ?
 

Log in to your fonytalk account and click on Add-Ons. Enter your username and password ( username and password is different then your fonytalk account username and password) Default username: fonytalk ID and password: (blank).

Please add your e-mail address under Account Info TAB to retrive the lost password.

6. How to check balance ?
 

By Dialing *11 from your dial key pad.

     
   
Billing and Payment
1. What Payment method we accept ?
  We only accept credit card payment . Visa and Master Card only.
2. How can I Recharge ?
  Login in to your fonytalk Account and click BUY CREDIT. Dial *12 and enter the voucher number.
3. Is there any credit expiry or connection/flagfall charges ?
  No, There is no credit expiry or connection/flagfall charges.
4. What is the minimum amount to recharge ?
  $10 AUD is the minimum.
5. What currency do we support ?
  We only support AUD currency.
6. How do I change my personal information ?
  Login in to your account and click Account Info..
7. How do i check the calls i have made ?
  Log in to your account and click on ADD-ONS, enter your username and password ( username and password is different then your fonytalk username and password) Default username: fonytalk ID and password: abc123..
8. How long are my xDR information will available in account portal ?
  xDR will be available for one moth only. It is your responsibility to download time to time for future reference.
9. Can I combine my multiple accounts in one bill ?
  No.
10. What is my billing pulse ?
  All calls will charged per 60 seconds increment.

General Troubleshooting
1. I am not able to register my fonytalk ?
 

Check List:

1) Make sure you are connected to the router and internet is ON. DHCP server must be enable on router.

2) Check router firewall. Make sure UDP port 1000 to 65000 are open.

3) Make sure your provider allowed to use VOIP sip protocol. If you are on 3 network, you may not use fonytalk. In certain countries voip is blocked such as: UAE, China.

If above fails:

Option 1: Power off your mobile and internet router(for WIFI only) for 5 min. Turn back on and try to register again.

Option 2: Login in to your Add-Ons account and click on Account Info>Service Features>Voice Calls and select ON NAT from RTP PROXY drop down list. And click Save and Close. Try agian to register.

2. What if I am getting fast busy tone?
 

Make sure you are dialing all digits. 099....... Also, check your fonytalk registration password. Make sure you have credit if you are dialing outside fonytalk network. If this does not solve your issue follow below:

Login in to your Add-Ons account and click on Account Info>Service Features>Voice Calls and select ON NAT from RTP PROXY drop down list. And click Save and Close. Try agian to register.

3. How to downlaod and install fonytalk ?
  Check user guide section.
4. I am unable to dial international call?
  Make sure you are dialing all digits. For example: Country Code + Area Code + Number. We do not support premium numbers.
